Shakespeare Point Opportunity

For those interested in earning some Shakespeare Points, there is a great opportunity in the following days: the Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro. At this festival there will be groups from all around the world. However, to earn Shakespeare Points you must see one of the following works, then take a picture with your ticket stub in the lobby and post it on your blog. Be aware check the maturity rating of the performance. Some of these performances can be very heavy and can feature explicit material.

This includes a Danish production of Hamlet (something not rotten in Denmark);

There is a production of puppet Othello:

There is a Colombia production of the comedy Two Gentlemen of Verona:

And while not Shakespeare, definitely an AP Lit classic, Anton Chekov's Uncle Vanya (Colombian production):

Here are two more Shakespeare functions in Spanish:

In addition, there is a renown Korean company invited:

These are all performed in their original languages with Spanish subtitles. While I realize this is not "English" per se, it is the closest we can get to an "English" theater experience. It's also really fun! Maybe I'll see you there.
